Kenji NINOMIYA

Kenji Niinomiya is a middle school student who is also a member of the astronomy club. He is a quiet and shy boy who is often overlooked by his classmates. However, he is secretly in love with his classmate, Shiori, who is also a member of the astronomy club. One day, Kenji is walking home from school when he sees a strange light in the sky. He follows the light to a shrine, where he meets a goddess named Himeko. Himeko tells Kenji that she has chosen him to be her shrine maiden. Kenji is reluctant at first, but he eventually agrees to help Himeko. As Kenji spends more time with Himeko, he begins to fall in love with her. However, he knows that he can never be with her because she is a goddess. One day, Himeko tells Kenji that she must return to her own world. Kenji is heartbroken, but he knows that he must let her go. After Himeko leaves, Kenji continues to help the other members of the astronomy club. He also starts to come out of his shell and become more confident. He eventually realizes that he can find love with someone who is just as human as he is.
